Career Highlights: Holds a number of school records, including Most Consecutive Starts in career (tied with Spencer Harris, 224), Most Consecutive Starts to begin a career (224 – only Tech player to start every team game in four-year span), Most Triples in a single game (2, did it twice – also an ACC record), Most Assists in a single game by an infielder (10, tied with two others), Most Assists in a single game by a second baseman (10), Most Assists in a single season by a second baseman (174 in 2012) and Most Assists in a career (711) … Was one of only two Tech student-athletes across all sports to start and play in every team game (min. 200 games) in career – Charisse Mariconda (softball, 249) … As a junior, passed Trey McCoy (168) for the most consecutive starts to begin a career at the school ... He and McCoy were the only Hokies to start and play every game at Tech through their junior season (since 1980) … Finished second to Harris (228) for most starts in a Tech career … Had two career walk-off RBIs – drew a bases-loaded walk against No. 6 Miami on April 14, 2012 and a bases-loaded single in the 11th inning against UMass Lowell on March 1, 2014 … Had 15 career game-winning RBIs and 20 career game-winning runs scored ... Also became the only Hokie over the last 11 years to register every RBI in a game with at least five runs scored, with his six-RBI game at ETSU on April 15, 2015.

2015: One of three Hokies to start all 54 games – 27 at shortstop, 25 at second and two on the mound … Was fourth on the team with 18 multi-hit games, including five with three and one with four … Second on the team with eight multi-RBI games, including two with three and a career-high six RBI contest (at ETSU on April 15) … Led the Hokies with 15 multi-run scoring games, including four with three runs and two games with four … Had a career long 18-game hitting streak and reached base in a career-high 32 straight games, which ended the season … Batted .322 (third on the team) with 66 hits (third), including nine doubles, a team-high seven triples and five home runs (third), and 104 total bases (third) for a .507 slugging percentage (third) … Scored a team-high 56 runs and added 35 RBIs (third) … Drew a team-high 40 walks and was hit by three pitches for a .434 on-base percentage (second) … Also had three sacrifice flies … In the NCAA, was ranked in seven categories – eighth in triples, 15th in triples per game (0.13), 36th in runs per game (1.04), 55th in runs, 43rd in walks per game (0.74), 56th in walks and 171st in on-base percentage … In the ACC, was top 10 in four categories (at the end of the regular season) – first in triples, third in runs, fifth in assists (162) and 10th in walks and was also 19th in batting average, and finished first in triples, eighth in runs and 15th in batting … In ACC-only games, was ranked in four categories – second in runs (29) and assists (105), eighth in on-base percentage (.446) and 11th in batting average (.340) ... His 29 runs scored in ACC play was the second-most ever in a single season in the league, while his seven triples were the most ever in a single season at the school while a member of the ACC.

2014: at the plate – One of four Hokies to start all 53 games – 50 at second, one at shortstop and two on the mound … Had 13 multi-hit games, including one with three and one with four, three multi-RBI games and five multi-run scoring games … Registered an eight-game hitting streak and had a 16-game reached base streak, second longest on the team … Batted .249 with 52 hits, including six doubles and three triples, for 64 total bases and a .306 slugging percentage … Scored 29 runs and knocked in 24 … Drew 30 walks and was hit by a pitch three times for a .347 on-base percentage … Was 2-for-3 on stolen base attempts.

on the mound – Appeared in four games making two starts … Posted a 1-2 record … Had a 7.94 ERA in a total of 5.2 innings and struck out three batters … First college action on the mound was April 1 against James Madison, retiring the only batter he faced … Earned first start and win against Longwood, April 9 … Pitched a total of three scoreless innings, including a season-high 3.0 consecutive … Also, threw two perfect frames and, at one point, retired a career-high six straight batters.

2013: Was one of three Hokies to start all 62 games – 45 at shortstop and 17 at second … Had 11 multi-hit games, including four games with three hits, two multi-RBI games and seven multi-run scoring games … Third on the team with a 14-game reached base streak, and ended the year with 10 straight … Batted .225 with 52 hits, including eight doubles, one triple and one home run, for 65 total bases and a .281 slugging percentage … Scored 37 runs and knocked in 24 … Drew a team-high 42 walks and had a .344 on-base percentage … Was 3-for-6 on stolen base attempts … In the NCAA, was 36th in base on balls and 82nd in base on balls per game … In the ACC, was tied for eighth in walks.

2012: The only player to start all 55 games – 52 at second and three at shortstop … Posted 10 multi-hit games, including one game with three hits … Also had four multi-run games and five multi-RBI games … Had a streak of reaching base in 10 straight games … Batted .246 with 46 hits, including nine doubles and three triples (second on the team) for 61 total bases and a .326 slugging percentage … Scored 28 runs and drove in 27 … Drew a team-high 32 walks and was hit by a pitch four times for a .361 on-base percentage … Was 4-for-6 on stolen base attempts … Led the team with 12 sacrifice hits, which was 74th in the nation … Was also tied for second in triples (3) in ACC-only games.

High School: Was a four-year letter winner for Coach Oscar Benitez at Immaculata-LaSalle … Was named the school’s athlete of the year as a senior and also garnered Miami Herald pitcher of the year, first-team all-county and first-team Miami-Dade recognition … As a senior, batted .440 with two home runs, 12 doubles, 35 runs scored, 35 RBIs in 29 games … On the mound, posted an 8-1 record with a 2.33 ERA and 102 strikeouts … Was a second-team all-county in 2010.
