2012: Named a Brooks Wallace Award quarterfinalist (5/3) ... 2009 – 2010 (at Cypress College): Was on the Chargers’ roster … In two seasons, started and played in all but one game … Had 106 hits, 28 doubles, two triples and six home runs, while driving in 60 runs and scoring 68 times in 88 games … As a sophomore, batted .343 with a .418 on-base percentage and a .544 slugging percentage … In 2009, hit his first collegiate home run in his first game versus Palomar College (1/27) … Had 32 multi-hit games, including a career-high three hits six times … Had 15 multi-RBI games including a career-high five once and four twice … Scored at least two runs 14 times, including a career-high three four times … In 2010, had a 18-game hitting streak from Feb. 13 through March 23 and batted .434 in the stretch.
