Career Highlights: Became just the eighth Hokie true freshman to pick up a win in ACC play with his first collegiate win on March 22, 2015 in a relief appearance against Clemson, tossing 1.1 innings with a strikeout in the 4-3 walk-off win in the 12th inning.

2017: Appeared in just four games for Tech before suffering year-ending injury and taking a redshirt season … Had a 10.57 ERA in a total of 7.2 innings, struck out three batters and walked two … Tossed a season-high 3.0 innings at Nevada (Feb. 26) and threw at least 1.0 innings in all four bullpen outings ... Inherited seven runners and six of them scored … Retired 2-of-4 first batters faced … Pitched a total of three scoreless innings … Also, threw two perfect frames and, at one point, retired four straight batters … Had three double plays turned behind him, all GDPs.

2016: Appeared in 13 games, which included first collegiate start versus Campbell (March 9) … Had an 8.14 ERA in a total of 24.1 innings, struck out 16 batters, walked eight and posted a 1-1 record with one save (one of six Hokies to record a save in 2016) and combined on one shutout - versus ETSU (Feb. 23) … Picked up his win in relief appearance against Wake Forest (May 14) and earned his first collegiate save versus Alcorn State (May 7) … Tossed a season-high 5.0 innings in that Alcorn State game and threw at least 1.0 innings in seven bullpen outings ... 2015: Appeared in 17 games (fourth on the team) all out of the bullpen … Had a 5.68 ERA in a total of 25.1 innings, struck out 15 batters, walked seven, and posted a 2-0 record … Threw at least 1.0 inning in 14 appearances, including a season-high four versus Liberty (March 17) and did not allow an earned run in six of them … Inherited 19 runners (most on the team) and allowed nine to score for a 52.6 percent held rate … Struck out at least two batters four times, including a season-high three batters twice … Pitched a total of 14 scoreless innings, including 6.1 consecutive … Also, threw seven perfect frames and, at one point, retired seven straight batters ... High School: Earned varsity letters three years while playing for Coach Mark Stanford at Tappan Zee … A two-time first team all-league, all-county and all-section as a sophomore and a senior ... As a sophomore was a Perfect Game All-American, when his record as 4-1 with a 0.66 ERA … Earned the league's pitcher of the year honor as a senior after going 4-0 with two saves and a 0.38 ERA and 65 strikeouts.
