2012: Served as the team's emergency catcher, but did not see any game action.

High School: Played for Coach Jay Burkhart at Battlefield, earning varsity letters his last three seasons … Helped team to the regional championship and the state semifinals during his senior season, playing three positions – catcher, outfield and pitcher … Also, earned two letters as a wide receiver and safety for the Bobcats and was a member of the 2010 state championship team.
