Career Highlights: Started both the 2013 ACC Baseball Championship game against No. 3 North Carolina on May 26 and Tech’s elimination game against Oklahoma in the NCAA Blacksburg Regional on June 2 … Had a no-hitter broken up with two outs in the fifth in his first two starts of 2013 – versus Temple (Feb. 23) and Ohio (Mar. 1) … Tossed 73 career scoreless innings, 31 were perfect frames … Struck out the side four times, posted a career-high 9.1 straight scoreless innings pitched and at one point, retired a career-high 12 straight batters.

2013: Appeared in 16 games making five starts … Posted a 2-5 record with a 5.40 ERA in a total of 46.2 innings and struck out 38 batters … In his five starts, had a 4.55 ERA in 29.2 innings with 24 strikeouts and opponents hit just .196 against him … Threw at least 1.0 innings in nine relief outings and did not allow an earned run in four of them … Struck out at least two batters in four games out of the pen and in each of his five starts … Pitched a total of 35 scoreless innings, including a career-high 9.1 consecutive … Also, threw 17 perfect frames and struck out the side twice.

2012: Appeared in 19 games overall (fourth-most on the team) and made three starts … Posted a 4-0 record with one save and combined on two shutouts with a 6.37 ERA … Threw a total of 35.1 innings and struck out 40 batters (fourth) … Opponents batted just .248 against him … Struck out at least three in six games … In games out of pen, inherited 12 runners and allowed just one to score, best percentage on the team.

2011: Appeared in nine games making six starts … Posted a 1-1 record with a 5.08 ERA … Threw a total of 28.1 innings and struck out 23 batters … In three relief appearances (seven innings), did not allow an earned run with four strikeouts … Struck out at least three batters in five outings.

High School: Lettered all four years on varsity while playing for Coach John Kearney at Bridgewater-Raynham High … In his career, posted a 26-4 record with 372 strikeouts and a 0.97 ERA on the mound … Also batted .507 his senior year with a .656 on-base percentage … Earned three all-league honors, three Eastern Mass. All-Star selections, was the 2009 Eastern Mass. All-Star Pitcher MVP and was a two-time Mass.
