2012: Was one of three Hokies named to the All-ACC Academic Team ... Appeared in 16 games overall and made eight starts … Posted a 2-3 record with a 5.68 ERA … Threw a total of 58.2 innings, second on the team, and struck out a team-high tying 52 batters … In games out of pen, inherited six runners and allowed just one to score … Finished the season 193rd in the NCAA in Strikeouts Per Nine Innings at 7.97 … Threw three innings of relief against Bradley (2/18), struck out five batters and allowed one unearned run ... Picked up the win in relief versus West Virginia (2/24) after allowing just one earned run in 2.1 innings pitched and striking out five as Tech rallied for the win ...
