I
an dedicated himself to a
regimented fitness program and
earned a spot in the lineup for the
first event of the season, helping
the team to a second-place finish.
After a taste of what it’s like to be
in the starting five, he continued
to work diligently on his game and
competed in one other tournament
as an individual. Ian has become a
very solid ball-striker and hits as
many good shots as anyone on the
team. With a little more consistency
he is capable of shooting some
very low numbers. Not only a hard
worker on the golf course, Ian is
an excellent student. He had the
highest GPA on the team last year
and was selected to the
Virginia
Tech All-Academic Team.
