- Returned to Blacksburg for the 2017 season to assist the staff with video work — scouting and player development
- Spent the summer and fall of 2016 working with the San Fransisco 49ers as a scouting assistant and an offensive assistant coach
- Played four seasons with the Hokies (2013-16) and earned three letters
