ON THE PGA TOUR Former Hokies and close friends Johnson Wagner and Brendon de Jonge have both had outstanding careers on the PGA Tour. Wagner, a three-time winner on Tour, has earned over $11 million in 11 full seasons. His 2017 campaign was highlighted by a pair of fifth place finishes at the Safeway Open and Quicken Loans National. He finished the year 140th in the FedEx Cup standings and has conditional status on the PGA Tour for the 2018 season. A member of the International Team for the 2013 President’s Cup, de Jonge has earned over $12 million during his career. He competed on Tour without exempt status in 2017, playing 12 events on sponsor exemptions, but was not able to finish inside the Top 150 in the FedEx Cup standings. However, having been on the PGA Tour for five consecutive seasons, he is fully exempt on the Web.com Tour in 2018.
