N C A A T O U R N A M E N T The 2016-17 season was a magical trip that culminated in the most magical of ways: a trip to the NCAA Tournament. The Virginia Tech men’s basketball team relished the experience and both the players and the coaches used the trip to Buffalo, New York to better themselves and the program in general. From the night of Selection Sunday with all the fans in Cassell Coliseum, to the quick trip up to snowy Buffalo, to the open practices in the arena, to the time spent with the team and the family, from special side trips to the game itself, the Hokies truly immersed themselves in every aspect of the NCAA Tournament. Lifetime memories were made, and motivation remains to return to the Big Dance once again.
