Since the NCAA Tournament expanded to 64 teams in 1985, ACC teams have compiled a 320-165 (.660) record, including 86 Sweet 16 appearances and 47 Regional Final berths—all NCAA Tournament bests. Since 1985, nearly half of the league teams (86 of 175) receiving NCAA berths have won at least two NCAA Tournament games. Teams currently in the ACC have combined to win 17 NCAA Championships. The ACC has posted 10 or more NCAA Tournament wins 16 times overall, and with its 11-8 mark in the 2017 NCAA Tournament, the ACC extended its non- losing streak in NCAA Tournament play to 30 years in a row. The Big Ten is second with a streak of 11 straight non-losing seasons, while the SEC is third at eight.
