MBB HOKIES 17-18 | MEDIA GUIDE
When Buzz Williams and his staff arrived at Virginia Tech, they made upgrading and improving the Hahn Hurst Basketball Practice Center one of their main facility focuses. The summer of 2016 saw workers add new graphics and make enhancements to the weight room in the facility. The redesign and reconfiguration of the space included new half racks from Williams Strength, Woodway treadmills, new bumper plates for Olympic lifts and new cable machines. The staff used every possible resource available, and everything that the staff needs to improve the players’ conditioning now belongs to the team. The summer and fall of 2017 saw the program add even more upgrades, which include a large increase in video screens and technology. From the lobby to the coaching suite, workers installed new, high-definition video boards, adding to the design and scope of the center. The lounge area of the locker room also has been redesigned, with a new, large video wall included in the space. These improvements and others make Hahn Hurst one of the finest and most advanced practice facilities in the country. H A H N H U R S T U P G R A D E S @VT_MBBall @vthokiembb VTMBBALL 10
